Part 1 (above) examines the intellectual problem of suffering; Part 2 examines the personal problem of suffering; Part 3 examines the emotional problem of suffering and Part 4 presents a wider perspective on the presence of suffering in the world, asking whether we have other reasons to trust God and whether there might be a greater good arising from God allowing evil.
